Payments by debit or credit card are handled by TivusatMan 3rd party provider Stripe.
Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available.
Stripe forces HTTPS for all services, including TivusatMan public website. TivusatMan regularly audits the details of implementation: the certificates it serves, the certificate authorities it uses, and the ciphers it supports. TivusatMan uses HSTS to ensure browsers interact with Stripe only over HTTPS. Stripe is also on the HSTS preloaded lists for both Chrome and Firefox.
All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons are able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.).
Items in stock are usually dispatched within 48 hours. Please allow additional time if your order has been placed over the weekend. If certain products are not available in stock we will inform you and suggest a later delivery date.
In general, please add 2-3 business days to allow for processing time. If we anticipate a longer lead time, it will be noted in the item description. If you have any questions about the lead time on a specific item, please use the contact page to find out about leading time.
TivusatMan will use the best possible courier for shipping your goods and all reasonable endeavours to ensure delivery times are met, but cannot be held responsible for dispatched parcels delayed by third parties, for example due to poor weather conditions.
Highlands, Channel Islands and other specific post codes may carry additional postage charges due to the higher shipping costs.
You should receive an email confirming your order shortly after you’ve placed it. If you don’t receive that email, please check your spam folder and see if you can locate it. This is especially important because, if you haven’t received the order confirmation email, you also won’t receive the email with your shipment notification and tracking information.
TivusatMan calculates shipping costs by flat rate, depending on the product purchased. Each additional item in your order is then charged at the ‘Additional Item’ price. This keeps the overall shipping costs lower than if it is charged the same price per item, especially on larger orders.
Normally price for shipping is £10, depending on the weight and the volume of the product, i.e. big satellite dishes require volumetric calculations and sometimes dedicated van delivery.
Customers must allow 10 working days for delivery before we will reship or refund orders.
Unavoidably, parcels get damaged sometimes.
Always inspect the parcel before signing for it. Visibly damaged parcels should not be signed for and returned to the sender. If you discover the product to be damaged only after opening the parcel, then you need to notify TivusatMan ASAP. Keep the damaged packaging as proof. All parcels leave the suppliers in very sturdy condition and if they do get damaged then it’s usually not TivusatMan fault. If you sign for a damaged parcel, please make a written reference to the courier at the time of signing. Description of the damage in this case should be as accurate as possible.
Currently, TivusatMan does not ship internationally.
All orders will require signature on delivery.
Return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Any items that are returned for refund within 14 days will incur a 25% restocking charge. Due to the nature of our online site, and the products listed, there is a strict NO RETURN policy for satellite viewing cards and decoders once unpacked and activated. The card is NOT covered if broadcasting stops due to the broadcaster going out of business or a change in schedules, or if the broadcast infringes UK broadcast law. If this is the case TivusatMan is not liable for this action and you have bought said subscription cards with this knowledge. Illegitimate use of viewing cards in alternative decoder and use in public places is not cover by this warranty. Viewing cards are sold for domestic use only.
All products purchased on TivusatMan are covered by 12 month Return To Base (RTB) warranty. Should your product become faulty within this term, it can be repaired or replaced at TivusatMan discretion. To return your your faulty, formalize the request by email mail@TivusatMan.uk, including your full name, invoice number, a contact number and the nature of the fault
TivusatMan then will send you clear instructions on how to return the faulty goods.
When posting, client must make sure to include all the original boxing the product came with, and any other parts such as viewing card, remote control, power supplier unit, AV cables, user manual. TivusatMan cannot guarantee replacement during warranty time for products returned without the original undamaged box and/or without all the components it came with. Make sure to wrap/pack the product properly, to avoid damages and/or loss during transit, i/e using packaging tape, bubble wrap, etc.
Customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on the location, the time it may take for your exchanged/repaired product to reach you, may vary.
You should ALWAYS use a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance, as TivusatMan will not be liable for this part of the transit. It is recommended to use a service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery, or any other courier which would cover and guarantee the full value of the product returned in case of loss or damage.
After delivery, the product will be inspected and tested for at least 48 hrs. If found faulty it will be sent out to the manufacturer to be repaired or replaced at TivusatMan discretion. Products found not faulty will be returned to the owners at his/her expenses.
